Quick start
From install to your first scored customer in under 15 minutes.
Step 1 — Install the app
Install creditOS from the Shopify App Store or WooCommerce Marketplace. Approve the required permissions — creditOS needs read access to orders and customer data.
Step 2 — Connect your store
Once installed, creditOS automatically reads your existing order history. No manual import needed. If you have less than 6 months of data, scoring still works — customers with limited history are assigned a conservative tier until more data accumulates.
Step 3 — Review your initial scores
Within a few minutes of install, your customer list will populate with Value Scores and Risk Scores. Go to Customers → Credit Scores in your creditOS dashboard to see the initial assessment.
Step 4 — Confirm your tier policies
creditOS ships with sensible default policies per tier. Review them under Settings → Tier Policies and adjust net terms, credit limits, and deposit requirements to match your business. See Credit tiers & policies for details.
Step 5 — Enable checkout enforcement
Once your policies are confirmed, turn on checkout enforcement under Settings → Enforcement. From this point, tier policies apply automatically at checkout. See Checkout enforcement for platform-specific notes.
